      4 in latin

Antiquis temporibus, nati tibi similes in rupibus ventosissimis exponebantur ad necem
(In the good old days, children like you were left to perish on windswept crags)

      Respice, adspice, prospice
( Examine the past, examine the present, examine the future )

Ille dolet vere, qui sine teste dolet
( He mourns honestly who mourns without witnesses.)

Hoc tempore obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit
( In these days friends are won through flattery, the truth gives birth to hate.)

A fool can use latin to give his quotes more credence.

"I like junk food. It's my favourite food group, and the widest of the food groups, I believe. It includes pretty much anything you can digest without dying from. ...I consider liquid paper 'junk food'. ...And that's why I'm not invited to potlucks anymore."

Performer: Dave Gomez (AKA Dave Rave) who now works in Nippon.

he pulls a gun out of a napsack (I swear to gawd) points it at the crowd and says ...

                        family conversations

My sister let her 5 and 3 year olds watch "Old Yeller".

                        Afterwards...

3 yr old Eva: (with a romantic, wishful, 'ponies and princesses' look in her eye) "sigh... Mommy? Why never we had a dog and then shooted it??"

Their Dad: "You know, when I was a little boy I had a dog. .......but then your grandpa had to shoot it."

5 yr old Nathaniel: "YEAH! Common! It would be fun!"

...So, this is what families are supposed to do together.

                        Those poor, twisted children.

                                That sounds Renaissance-able to me.
