I was at the Babel Comic book festival in Greece in Anthens peforming one night to a appreciative audience.......& i was goooseing about & jumping around on spring-shoes which was fun while playing silly songs on the guitar.Then i began to jump up & down on the spring-shoes & all of a sudden the crowd roared with laughter!I didn't know what was so funny until i felt a bit shorter on one leg....& then i realised that the spring on my shoe snapped in half!I guess it looked funny...but it wasn't funny for me!
I had to get by in Europe for quite some time with only one shoe!I did get the spring welded back together but then the other spring snapped on the other shoe!Strangley enough i got by still longer in Europe with a snapped spring-shoe that was welded back together & took the tension for ages!
Now i have another pair of fully functional spring-shoes.....so it gives me a better spring in my step!They're fun to go dancing in!You can dance for 5 hours in the buggers!
They make you feel like dancing when you're in them.
I was at the Glastonbury Festival in 95 & i lost the sole on one of my spring-shoe's!It was a massive site & i had no idea where my sole had vanished.5 hours later i found it out of the blue in the middle of no-where!I couldn't believe that i found it again!You can't spring on without your sole by crikey!

I remember busking in Lubljana in Slovenia & had a warm crowd which was fun....& then this little old Ukranian lady wearing all black & had a walking stick....came over to me & held my hand & just giggled at me.....with 1 tooth.Everyone laughed as it was quite funny & the more we all laughed the more the lady giggled & she just wouldn't let go of my hand!It didn't make any sense....but we were all getting off on each other's laughs!Crikey!It really was a therapeutic session & i did one of my better hats there.......which always isn't very much by some standards!What the heck!The Show Must Go On even if i never crack the formula!Oneday i might just have a show that sells?Anyway i'm going to fill my hat with brussel sprouts in the meantime!Cheeers!

I'm just going over the street to buy 14 No Frills cans of Munchkin garbage & the i'll be back with you all!The fluroscent lighting really brings up the scuzz food right before your eyes!Anyway i'm going over to window shop & pay the shopkeeper with the sound of my money in exchange for the smell of his food!See you again in 5 minutes!Ooops!I mean...you can see my words in 5 minutes or so!I'll Be BAck!Cheeeers!
