    Intelligence and Juggling

Are the two directly related? If you're able to juggle 4+ objects does this make you smarter than your average Joe? And even more... 5, 6, etc... do these people tend to have a fair bit more smarts than other folks? Now, lets do this comparison between juggling and everyday people, not other performers.

    Your thoughts?

I don't think that juggling with more items make you smarter.

it just shows that you are more perseverant than other. I think that anybody can juggle with anything they want, if they are willing to spent the neccessary amount of time on practice.

now if you start using siteswap, being smarter might be useful.

      Cordially,

perhaps an even darker comparison would be between the amount of things one can juggle and the amount of relationships one could lose due to the hours spent tossing things up in the air in a frenzied obbsessive manner....

Have any of the great thinkers of the world have ever been associated with juggling?

            Plato... nope

            Socrates... ummmm, no

            Aristotle?

            DaVinci?

            DesCartes?

            Plutarch?

            Einstein?

            Camus?

            Nietzsche?

            Kierkegaard?

            Dostoevsky?

            Wittgenstein?

            Emerson?

On and on and on the list of great thinkers will go, and none of them are known for their deftness with juggling.

Most jugglers are fucking morons. If you find them to be "intelligent," than (news flash) you are probably an even bigger fucking moron.

Balloon Twisters, on the other hand are GENUISES.

            Ovid invented the balloon doggie.

Patrick Kelly is a one man band.

I think jugglers and one man bands are a lot alike. Aside from playing ten instruments at once. I juggle my finances, my relationships, I juggled the balls my mom gave me at 9 15 this morning. I juggle street performing, a website that is taking off, and other creative endeavorers. I've juggled my own mortality for a thrill (It was only worth it cuz I didn't die..... or was it?). I've never juggled dreams and compromises. I've never had to. Maybe I've been lucky.

Anyway. I'd say I'm of average intelligence.

                    ***EDIT*************

And yes obviously Patrick Kelly isn't a "moron" juggler. He just corrected someone on their grammar. This makes him a prude. Prudes a lot of the time appear to be smarter than the average juggler. One synonym for prude is "an old unmarried woman". Patrick, grammar doesn't matter when you are insulting someone unless you are a 5th grade English teacher, and everyone hated their 5th grade English teacher. So don't.

Say, I owe you money or waht, brah?

They say this town is full of cozenage,

As, nimble jugglers that deceive the eye,

Dark-working sorcerers that change the mind,

Soul-killing witches that deform the body,

                        Disguised cheaters, prating mountebanks,

And many such-like liberties of sin:

Why is the following quote probably one of the best puns ever spoken by Bob Nickerson?
