    Picture is worth a ...................

Sometimes you don't need to say anything, just wear a smile and bring flowers, gifts and a candy bar!

He came over five days later with the cookies. It all turned out ok.

      They were REALLY good cookies.

He hit his head on our chandelere.

      We all had fun.
Did he get any nookie for his trouble or did you just eat the cookies and then show him the door

I think we all know the answer to that.

...Have I ever mentioned that there was a time when I seriously considered becoming a nun? But I'm not Catholic. ...and they probably wouldn't allow fire eating or violent paintings.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

My friend Karen gets the best bad pickup lines.
...There have been a lot of hilariously inappropriate ones, but she told me the best one last night.
While working at a soup kitchen she was approached with,

"If you don't go out to dinner with me... I'll kill you."

"...Did you just say you'll kill me??"

            "........................yes."
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

Rachel, I truly hope this guy was really making a lame ass attempt at humour. But with all the violence towards women etc, I fear that your friend Karen may have to be careful.

Back in my aviator days.... sometimes when we were wearingour flight suits...

"Ma'am I do Search and Rescue for a living and you look like you might need to be saved..." but that was many many many moons ago.

yes. I know. We went through all the questions with her. The "Did he look serious? Was he noticably mentally imbalanced? How did you respond?"

I trust her judgment. She's a social worker and a "Intervenes Drug Use Harm Reduction Worker". ...Which is why she gets all the good lines.

She's also a regular pnet reader. It was too good to not post, knowing she'd be reading it. Hey, Karne.(Pronounced "Carnie")

                -rp

Speaking of flight suits, my boss just gave me a very nice helmet with goggles. I wear it around the studio to feel cool. I smell like leather.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

Rachel if the smell of leather inspires you, can I crack my bullwhip for ya baby?

                    oh maaan.
...why did I even start this thread??

(I just noticed there's an old "pick up lines" thread that was started a long time ago.)

Since when do Catholics not allow violent paintings?

                          nuns.
but even so, you're right. I've never actually asked.
And a lot of the classic Biblical paintings are violent.
                          hmmm. You've made me reconsider.

I'm sure they put that spear into Jesus side in the most gentle of ways. Look at Pnet Jesus, he swallows swords all the time and he's just fine.
