      Busker Central Conection

Apparently Zoobie and Shawn know each other, why hasn't Zoobie piped up?
Well my video is on Busker Central and I don't know Zoobie...
Hell I didn't even give my permission for it to be there.

Well no juice, Jesus (shit? Sherlock?... short notice)

But look at the articles, they look a bit like they were written for the site. Then again, maybe Zoobie just signed up for the newsletter.

Has anyone seen "The Great Zoobini", seemingly AKA Zoobie, perform any-where? Street, festival, conference, caberet, club, anything???

It just seems to be a relevent question at this point.
          Every-one should watch their drawers!

Hey I just got another email from our friend, he qoutes an email from a performer that is happy with his book and says that the book helped her.
So since no seems to know him or be able to find out who he is I thought I would ask if anyone knows her.
Her name is Sharon Riggen and she is from Grand Jct. Colorado.

Does this "performer"/author know that he is being talked about on this forum, maybe we should email him a link so that he can see how many of us do not trust his credentials.
Maybe then he will step up to the plate.

hmmm... I think that with all the sarcasm and mocking (of which I am completely guilty), it would only send him deeper into hiding. Remember his defence in the "Am I a Fraud?" e-mail. He was insecure to begin with, about his peers perhaps thinking he didn't have the right to make a book on the topic.
But, I think the insecurity is the main thing that has damaged his credibility. As far as marketing tactic goes, I've never seen a book sold this way before. I mean, usually people write books to advertise themselves.
...The timing of that e-mail did make me wonder if he was reading these posts already. I mean, it was just shortly after a few pnetters signed up for hte news letters --a couple of days.
...I've never heard of paying for an "ebook" before. Am I correct in thinking that this is a book on the internet? And you pay $30 to get it, via world-wide interweb? I've seen "ebook" written several times in the newsletters. Maybe I'm just not net-savvy... well, I know I'm not.

Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

I've lived in CO my whole life. I've never heard of Sharon Riggen. We have played in Boulder off and on for quite a few years and I have never ran into Zoobie that I know of.

Obviously, this does not mean that they don't exist or perform! There are tons of people here that I have never heard of. Anybody else? Interesting that nobody admits to knowing Zoobie!

This is fun, I've always wanted to try and be like Monk.

I thought David Copperfield was a magician, not a Photoshopped musician.

I just spent less than 5 mintues looking for our mysterious performer writer on google and what did I find in the results?

A website link to his e-book...All 160 pages of it

I know that he is trying to sell this information for 40$ to anyone who will pay, but if you type his name into google with quotes around it google will give you a direct link to the .pdf ebook

                            Funny bit of info:
The last section of the book it talks about how he sucks at using computers...since he did not publish his ebook properly and encrypt it via password protection or anything and anyone can read it for free by looking on the web, that would seem to be true.

He also talks about how to set up a professional website for free using a yahoo free pages space.

                              I'm distraught

"Some mimes are very good but many people find them mildly irritating."
"If you have a miserable personality, you will never succeed as a performer anywhere."

                              I'm dooomed.
Its not a bad book for a beginner however.
Except for the heckler section which will end up getting some noob badly beaten.

Don't worry Martin. It's only the good mimes that people find mildly irritating......

.....the accomplised and excellent mimes are infuriating!
