I don't know if I ever mentioned, but this is sort of my sales pitch to busker fests -- that I do a montage of performers IN the festival.
It's as interactive as I had hoped. Starts a lot of conversations with passers-by about who they've seen and who's their favourite.
I just wish I had time and space to put more people in there.
I try to at least get little bits and props. ie: basket balls for Basketball Jones, Fesso's pan hat, Pedro's broom (I really should have drawn Pedro, himself), and Squid tentacles for Squid Percussion (who totally rock).
Now, I just have to work harder at figuring out the psychology of hat. I make crap money (like, ridiculously poor money) and I really shouldn't. This weekend has been good for learning... well, it's all been learning so far. Very steep and entirely uphill so far.

I hoping to find an assistant for an upcoming gig in Sydney. The job is a 3D piece for an in-house corporate film. Dates and times have not been set but it should be 4-5 hrs per day for 4-5 days during the first 2 weeks of Sept.
The assistant can treat this as an intensive workshop or simply be there to hold the other end of the string occasionally, shoot some video and go for coffees etc. This is a paid gig.
Some one sent me some 3D pavement art as a forward by Julian Beever I don't know a lot about pavement art but I really like it a lot. Do you know her name? These are some fantastic pictures I think. I don't know much about computers to post these myself, but if you will send me your e-mail address I'll forward them to you. Maybe you'll think they are worthy enough to post them here. Maybe she could help you with your project. jeepandmo@hotmail.com
Sidewalks, Streets, Pavement & Walls Never Had It So GoodPrint this Technology Julian Beever is an artist in the U.K. who specializes in many things, including three dimensional optical illusions. They are fantastic and staggering works. Upon seeing them, it is not uncommon to stop in your tracks and re-examine his amazing and arresting pieces because he has mastered the ability to blend the real and surreal - with chalk.
I really love side walk chalk art. I would love to see some one come here and do it at Mallory. I probably have the contacts to see that it is done with out the cops hassling. thanks for sharing all those great pic. with us.
