Usually its one or the other, sometimes both.
Good example is that Mundo chap. Know him, met him last year in Spain, from that point on he's been contributing stuff about various spots in Spain, France etc. Places that are OK and importantly, places not to bother. (because he has and gone through the hassle on your behalf)
Mostly everything he puts up is practical, but hey, he's been on the boards a year so he posts on 'the what do you do with your spare time' thread.
He mentions ' drooling over unattainable women' in the context of gazing at passing beauties I presume.
Little does he realise, he has blundered into the tinklehead PC zone.

I have him on constant ignore both him and magazinerodent, but sometimes I peek.
I don't think I've honestly met a character so perfectly deluded by their self worth before.
He actually believes he's serving a purpose by presuming to correct peoples attitudes.
And on a personal level I find his infatuation with me as infantile as his life guidance essays.
But you work at a job center long enough that sense of condecending superior dimwittedness becomes second nature.

I have read back over many posts to which you have contributed and I think Jester simply wanted to Piss you Off.. and he succeeded. I think I can begin to see why he wants to piss you off. In fact you are engaged in a battle to see which one can piss the other one off most and he is winning.

You are far far funnier with your words, but you are also far more insecure. If only because you contribute to this thread. It's supposed to be a Jester free zone, but it is a temple to a troll.

As for his remarks about unattainable women. I thought it was funny and he meant no harm. Besides, for him no woman is unnatainable.

Simply looking at a good looking girl is not enough for Jonathan. He has all the lines and can confidently walk up to any girl, tell her she's gorgeous, tell her partner he thinks his girlfriend is gorgeous, tell the girl he thinks she would be better off with Jester.. and all in public, everybody laughs and he often gets a kiss.

The bells on his head are what stops him from getting punched. And I think that's what is missing from Jonathans posts. You have to see him to really understand him.

I have recently worked at a couple of events with Jester. Nobody, (well almost nobody), even people who do not like him, can resist him. He is charming, funny and very persuasive. Everybody is horrified by his ridiculous ego but everybody knows he is a world class pratt. A few years ago he was antagonism personified. Once people realise that he's basicly harmless they get to like him.

He is very easy to work with even if he is domineering.
As the booker said to me. "He is such a blaggard, but I beleive every word he says."

A lot of people get cross with Jester, he is abrasive, but he is very busy and gets a lot of repeat business. I would reccomend him to anyone who asks.

I found you contradicory remarks interesting. On the one hand you conceded that you can't judge a performer by his posts, but in Martin Kicks Arse you tried to say that Jester wouldn't be very good with adults in the wider world.

Last week were supposed to mix and mingle and we were asked to do leaflets. This happens a lot. I said: "I can't make balloon animals and give out leaflets. I can give out one per balloon or I can be a very expensice leaflet giver."

One of the Clowns said: "I promised myself I would never do leaflets."

Jester said "I promised my family I would pay the mortgage. Give me the leaflets. I'll have them all out in an hour." Quite a boast, there was a box load. But he did it and he was more entertaining with the leaflets than we were with our balloon models. People were clamouring for leaflets. In fact he entertained our queues brilliantly.

Once he'd got rid of the leaflets he dragged us off to the main stage, where the compere was struggling with the usual delays you get at outside events.

"For heavens sake let us on that stage. Those poor people need entertaining." He said to the stage manager. The David Jason lookalike was very confused, he was reading out the program (again!) and suddenly he was standing aloft on Jesters shoulders....

...It wasn't just the kids who like him. I'm sorry Martin, you may want to think that Jester is a mediocre failure, but I'm afraid in real life, in person, he is huge. I have read his boasts on these boards, he can carry them out.

However, after he has gone you feel kind of mugged, because he isn't a very good listener. In fact it's like trying to have a sensible conversation with a political candidate desperate to be liked, but not really able to relate to you directly. (Lots of those about at the moment.)

Sometimes I really wanted him to shut up, slow down and I frequently wanted to punch him. I must be the only person in Britain who sympathised with Lee Bowyer last Saturday.

Lee Bowyer is a big soccer player who punched his own team mate on the pitch during an important game last week because his team mate wouldn't pass him the ball. It overshadowed all of the goals and shocked the nation. Well that's what Jester is like sometimes, you have to be very assertive with him if you are on his team, otherwise he only follows his own ideas.

I'm beginging to like him. I think you must have a sense of humour failure when you read him, probably because you dislike him, it's to do with having your tongue firmly in your cheek.

I have to say, I am finding you more nausiating than I find him. How you could be aggreived in "I want to say something" is beyond me. Who decides who should be fodder. You are fodder and you lay your self down in the trough and wait to be chewed. In fact, it is because of your repetitive circular attacks on Jester that I am begining to like him.

If Mundo is reading this, then don't take any offence at Jester. He was contributing his train of thought, not challenging yours.

How many posts will it take for you to look back on to realise I was pissed off before Jester ever raised his underwhelming head. You need to research your preselected opinions with a little more effort.Your perceptions are flawed. My whole residence here has been one of reactionary witty annoyance. You vainly try and attribute that to someone elses effort. More fool you.

Hardly an obsession more a stated fact. Your entitled to like him more than me. You obviously see far more of him. At some point force fed drivel becomes accepted as part of the envirionment. Personally I think that's unfortunate.

I am not trying to piss Jester off, very early on it became apparent that his trolling was a transparent ruse to produce reactionary content he could proudly claim ownership of.
Because he is immune to self reflection the idea of trolling him is idiotic. He doesn't like bullys, gosh what a surprise, what with being hairless and only semipopular as a kid. But he's in my opinion the most wretched type of psychic bully in that (and you mention this yourself) irrespective of his attempts to entertain, you always feel lessened, or reduced, (and as a consequence this site lessened or reduced) after injesting whatever self absorbed ill concieved trite banal, often factually incorrect and altogether superfluous twaddle he chooses to use as the vehicle for his vacuous personality. Put simply, he requires more energy than he gives.
I'll clarify something for you, you can judge a personality by what he/she does to represent itself. You cannot judge a performance based on a personality as performances often are brilliant disguises of flawed individuals. (peter sellars comes to mind)
You pick obscure little things to relate as inconsistancies but your most telling contradiction is that you have now addressed me personally a couple of times to let me know that in your opinion I'm 'Losing' or your more entertained by the 'opposition' in this "contest".
Why are you not simply encouraging jester?

Pls, people, you really must check your Jester issues in at the door.

Many of our other patrons are justifiably upset at the disturbance of the peace and tranquility of this refuge and are demanding that management act.

This is a respected establishment.

You can always retrieve your problems (if you really want them) as you leave. We do have a UN sanctioned Toxic Waste Disposal Device (TWDD) should you choose to leave your rubbish in the cloak room.
We do recommend our clients make full use of this facility.
