That was probably a real study in tolerance, Steve. My parenting style was unapologetic self absorption, and my daughter is still alive. Congrats on surviving the week.

The idea doesn't seem to really fit anywhere, as such, but my god if I don't say it then I'll never get to sleep. And I haven't been sleeping well.

It's three thirty in the morning and I need to create something.

            Or I'll explode. Or... something.

                      I got publicity.

Although the last link threw me a little because they seemed to mix and match my answers, which resulted in some WEIRD grammar. I said all of those things at one point or another in the interview though so I guess it counts.

Stretch and the Bubble Petting Zoo at the Mile High Turkey Trot

I'm the ninth photo in the slideshow at http://cfapp2.rockymountainnews.com/...8denvertky.xml

Greetings from Denver! Happy post Thanks Giving! Yesterday I donned
my stilts and arrived early at the Turkey Trot. Such fun! I set up
my Bubble Petting Zoo at about 8:30. Wished I had thought to wear
rubber gloves as my hands got a bit chilly. It was about 38 degrees
with about 65% humidity. Good bubble weather with very beautiful giant
bubbles and an enthusiastic response. Some of the bubbles were three feet in diameter!

As start time for the race neared, I put away my Bubble Petting Zoo, ( a rig that I wear on my chest, that holds a bucket of bubble juice, and a sign. It was made from a rig that marching bands wear to hold their drums)
donned my back riding Turkey in Hiding, and grabbed my Mistletoe
Fishing Pole to join the race and do some Kiss Fishing! People loved
it, and in addition to the dozens of couples encouraged to kiss, dip,
and snuggle, I managed to get three out of four of Denver's Finest
Cops kissed as well! Four miles on stilts! Can't wait until next year!

Hey stretch, Denver is such a great place to work. That turkey trot sure looked like a lot of fun. Great pictures by the way. I use to work in Denver a lot.Me and my friend Dave Banjoseed worked on the stage at the very first mountain and plans festival which is now the taste of Colorado which has better than 400,000 people attend. And I worked that for a lot of years tying balloons. It was always my biggest money making event of the year. That peoples fair the first week of June is great to work too. I think the bubble art is neat. I haven't seen it for a long time though, and would like to maybe experiment with it a little. Do you have to make the blower or do you by it and where? Are there any tricks to the trade I should Know?

Your video looks great!Red pants does a show similar to that in key west but they use a 20 ft. extension ladder. How do you make the pole stand up?

two different riggings. The practice pole (the one in the vid) is bolted to the ceiling and the floor.

Our performance rig has cables that we crank tight and are hammered into the ground or can be attatched to mount points.
