Saturday night I was on my way home from the city, WITH my partner Terri in the truck. Came to a 2-lane, parking-lot-speed traffic jam heading north on the Van Wyk, to exit toward the Whitestone Bridge. After 5 minutes of waiting, I took the left lanes, on an impulse, committing to a southbound exit for the cross-island parkway, desperate to move. We rolled by about a mile of nasty, walk-speed cars, waiting for the bridge exit: 45 minutes Minimum.

Nailed the cross island for 3 seconds, did an offramp U-turn, (no cakewalk sometimes, in the Bronx,) and wound up on the Whitestone in about 22 seconds.

          taxi,

that has to be one of the best hypes I've ever read.

to keep on topic... I've just made a LIFETIME supply of rola bola boards for myself. I used a friend's woodshop to router off the edges, sand the boards down to a silky smoothness, double re-enforced the edges, applied the primer and three coats of paint, bonded on a rubber bottom, cut and adhered the grip tape with the upmost precision. Goddamn are these BEAUTIFUL boards. If I'm going to over do something, I'm really going to over do it.

Table hopped doing close up magic for the first time a couple of nights ago.

              Terrifying.

              but achievable.

                Yessssssssssssssssss!

I'm not fond of the squash-head photo.

But thank you, Mr. Ewen, for the bio. It reads beautifully.

Click on "FilmographY" and you can see the synop and 8 stills of my 2.21 minute film. The film itself will be up on the site shortly. Not yet though.

...surreal for me. If an organization could be a mentor, mine would be the NFB.

But Rex is a lot prettier...

I got accepted to the San Francisco International Comedy Competion. My palms are sweating. If you hear no more about this, then I have failed horrifically and didn't even make it to the second round.

There have been a lot of great comedians who have been in that competition. Nice job, congatulations..

                              Uber cool, Doc.
Go for it and remember, if you really do fuck up "Big Time" at least some-one will notice. It didn't do me or most of my family that much harm despite my repeated attempts. I can actually afford the doctors' bills now.

Have fun and good luck. Fun first, you can make your own luck.

                                Congratulations D.E.

If you do fail, which I do not think you will, you can always get a spot on America's Got Talent!

Looking forward to seeing you perform at the festival.
