    Chainsaw Juggling

I am pleased to report that I broke the 3 chainsaw juggling world record this past weekend at the Portland Juggling Festival. This is unofficial pending Guinness' approval.

You can watch a rather repetitive video of the record.

The previous record of 78 catches fell to my 86. Celebrity jugglers Matt Hall, Mark Hayward, Ryo Yabe, and Rhys Thomas were on hand to witness.

          mini-youse

          Hey you groovy hep cats,

I'm starting up a little side business for the off season...

          I'm building marionettes of any of you street performers who are interested. You can use them as art in your home, or props in your show. I can build your heroes, favorite stars, family or friends, too;
          a great X-mas gift ideer.

I've built scads and scads of puppets - for The Drew Carey Show, Seinfeld, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers,G'N'R, Slash, and many other TV shows and films.
Warner Bros. displays my work in their archives.

Prices start at 500$ and go up depending on what action or prop you require them to move... whatever you desire. I usually work in 18 inch scale but can alter that if you like.

thepuppetguy@hotmail.com if you think you'd like one. Tenks.

            I won

I just won the Los Angeles one-man-show Competition "15 minutes of him." It was funny. I got second place in the first round. All the second-placers competed in a second chance show. I got second in that too. That got me into the finals where I tied for first place.

                  jack.

But, I got two calls yesterday morning. One from a commercial agent who is submitting me as a juggler for a show and wants to represent me, and a call from ABC to audition for a new comedy show. There were tons of industry people there.

I'll be able to tell you more of what I get from it in a week or so.

We are ready for your close-up Mr. Nery

Make sure any commercial agent will (eventually) represent you theatrically as well (be cautious about signing) ... learn how to cold read.

Try not to get stuck in any commercial agents "juggler only" category ... you have so much more to offer.

                    Cut ... Print

P.S. on the audition (if you get it) ... make a strong choice and don't forget to button it.

                      The Daily Express

There was a full page feature about me in The Daily Express today.

                      I'm a little bit thrilled.

Weather has been good for shows lately.
                          About to get cold though

Probably not that much warmer here, in fact they have forecast snow for higher altitudes next week. That's 3 months earlier than last year!
If you feel like checking out a new country and trying your like, feel free to come on down though.
Damn that Blond Bond. At least I previewed my show already.
The guy is an ugly, blond bond. He stole my look !!
