    wireless mp3 or....

last summer i saw a french performer. he had what im guessing to be an mp3, (although it could have been anything. he had it wrapped in material to match his attire), which was affixed to his side. he was able to change the music in his show just by pushing the buttons at his side. totally wireless.

ok so what was he using? anyone know?

    wireless mp3/ipod/err whatever.

    thanks

There is a pretty good wireless remote made by belkin for use with the ipod.

It dosen't have a huge range but would be fine for street performing.

It is sold as a remote for use when you are running/riding and you don't want to have to take your ipod out of your bag every time you want to change tracks.

It has all the very simple functions pause, play, skip forward, skip back, volume up, volume down.

I just purchased a wireless remote for my ipod touch from ebay. It is made by Monster, and was only 17.00 and free shipping.

I haven't revieved it yet, but will post once it arrives.

let me know how the monster one is...I have heard mixed reviews on reliability.

I have been using the ijet since engineered audio discontinuted their aerolink and discontinued their remote remote lines.

Ijet is a close second for what I have seen, but I have not tried the monster one.

                  monster remote

I have been using it for a few days now. Although the range on it isn't very far, it works great for my needs.

                          thanks for the offers.

the belkin seems to be the best quality at an affordable price. do any of you have experience with the belkin and an ipod?

                            monster remote

This one does not work with the second generation iPod touch. However works well with first gen.
