I know I'm late posting this but I thought he deserved mention in here as well:
Rudy Williams was known as the "Mayor of Beale St.". He was a fixture on Memphis' historic strip where Blues was born and could be seen in any weather playing his trumpet on the street. In May of 2011, Rudy briefly went missing and his body was later found.
Rudy was one of the most authentic street musicians we ever encountered. He was a true gentlemen and carried the spirit of Beale St. in his heart.
