    Most trusted man

Walter Cronkite, the man who WAS TV news for years passed 7/17 at age 92.

I and many of us grew up listening to him every evening tell us "That's the way it was."

    ugh.

A while ago there was a little spat here because someone put RIP Anna Nichole Smith. I kinda started the brew-haha because I said that as moving as it is that this incredibly talented and gifted woman is now gone and we will no longer be entertained by her wit and skill, she has absolutely nothing to do with street performing.

A characature artist said that because she was once a stripper that she was a street performer.

    That argument did not fly.

Thankfully the thread was moved to blah blah blah.

    ---------

So yeah, Walter is gone. And he was great anchor and etc.

But even if he began his career as a boy hawking papers on the streets (a la "newsies") he has abso-frakking-nothing to do with street performing.

    ---------

Nothing against Walter, but as I kind of hold sacred what we do, get him out of here.

    Loads of love,

    Etienne

I don't mind it being here. I wouldn't have heard if it hadn't been put up, don't get much news on the road.

You must admit it's a lot more entertaining that way!

I also get my weather from looking out the window. (more accurate)

Gotta remember it's not like I can watch Walter anymore!!
