    Cash

For those of you who haven't heard, Johnny Cash died early this morning. Truely a sad day.

IMHO, he was a real American hero. That old country bastard was more punk than I'll ever be.
I'll be drinking to Jonny tonight.

I had not seen the video for "Hurt" until this morning after I heard that he died. It's quite moving. I'm going to have to get some Johnny Cash music.

Scroll down and check out the Hurt video:

        that's not true, Evan.

Here's the hat line I wrote today. I'm going to try it out this evening.

As you might have heard Johnny Cash died today. He was a true artist and an innovator. For ever his impact will be left on the world of music. Yet, most of his life he lived poor and struggled to make it by.

Don't let this happen to a powerful innovator of the art of juggling. I don't come out here just for money. I want to create and experiment for the furtherance of society. Unfortunately, instead of working full time to make the best show in the world, I might be forced into taking a normal full-time job which doesn't have such a profound effect on the human race. After the show, pay me for the show you saw. Pay $5 or more. I think the future of our planet is worth that.

Here was my only hat line for tonight:
"This is the part where I tell you that you should all give me lots of money, but tonight is different. I'm not gonna do my hat lines. My bucket will be on the ground and if you want to throw somthing in thats fine. Jonny Cash died today; he was a true american hero. I want you to go and have a drink to him, and if you don't want to do that; leave a couple of dollars in my bucket and I'll do if for you. This is for Johnny!"

So my hats were small in comparison to usuall, lots of singles. I'm happy with it. Even though I really need the money (season is over and weekends are all I have), it's just somthing I felt strongly about and had to do. Now I'm trashed and had to ride my skateboard home.
A moment of silence for Cash.
