I was doing a show the other night and during my finale, when I am juggling on a unicycle playing the harmonica, the emcee jumped in over me with a sound check for his outro.

last time
I was doing a street show with rules where you wait until the hats
done being filled and the performer sets it downor its obvious
before you go after the next act, I was on the TOP of my ladder and
the break dancer did the sound check thing before. Like three times.
This time they started they show and did the intro music while I had
my biggest crowd there ever, they said sorry didn't know when my
hat line comes. Well watch the fucking show with ears. They knew.
One said they just wanted the crowd, sure money is not involved
other performers will wait all day to start, I been street performing
since 1980. Never changes, people have to be told three times..
Pretty obvious I wear my hat, do my hat line up there, then
come down and take it off they seen my show 100s of times,
blinded by greed is all. -
the sound tech guys that act like you are an idiot and totally not important and rush you through sound check. The sound tech guys that roll their eyes when they hear that you brought your own mic, and then back off when they see that your stuff is top of the line.
Those are ALWAYS the sound techs that forget to un-mute your mic channel when you walk on stage.Comment
