    wewwy wewwy [open] secret

So here's the gig, it doesn't pay, but when have i let that stop me.
I am a float in my own right at a certain seaside Independance day Parade.

Good work huh? I can be anything.

I'm thinking along the lines of 'the last surviving member of the Kona/NZ glee club'

My wife tells me that the american perception of a glee club is a group that sings. I just thought they were groups of the gleeful. Can someone set me straight?

So as a kinda registered non American I thought I could be a bit subversive and pro kiwi.

I'm after ideas, one I have is a torch of liberty you can turn on and off, I'll pretend it's faulty.

I'll be in front of or behind either a punk rock group or a surfing music float.

and if you google earth kona downtown you will see the seawall I'm going to walk in the middle of the parade. That should freak everyone out.

So where can i get a liberty torch?

Oh and it's not 'lurk' I have a 'one eared bear' headpiece.
    Just because.

    discuss.

    So it's morphed a little.
Here is the copy the announcer will read out as I pass, I'll be just before or after the surfing band, [whatever that may be, either crusty brass or wah wah]

"The one eared bear of freedom is a cultural gift from New Zealand.
Initially denied funding by the the New Zealand arts council [because of the ear issue], the One Eared Bear of Freedom overcame its many many impediments and is now New Zealand's most well known advocate for damaged stuffed animals.
But there is a larger message this 12 ft clown from a neighbouring South pacific country gives us and it is this.
'You might be slightly damaged but are still free to have as much fun as possible."

[the theme of the Parade is 'freedom']
