Playing for Change - world-wide street music project

I heard about this collaboration on the Bob Harris program on Radio 2. It's a world-wide project using street musicians who have been recorded live on the street and edited together for some really nice cover songs. They've got a really extensive website with superb music and video production. You can see a list of the videos that they've made so far at:

The video for "Stand by Me" is probably a good one to start with. Check it out. You might even see someone you know from the street.

    playing for change

I've know Grampa for a lot of years. We played a lot together in New Orleans in the early 90's.He and Stoney B. had a really cool act there. I don't know what happened to Stoney B. after hurricane Katrina.I must say that What a wonderful World is the coolest video I've seen in a long time. Johnathan and all his crew really out did there selves on this project.I suppose I'm in the documentary some where because they shot video of me and my dog Mo for several days, while in New Orleans. I haven't seen the video. But I've seen some of there clips and they did an exultant job! Two thumbs up to a job well done.
