I grew up in New Zealand, where it is the 70's forever. Mescalin, [thanks taxi] had to be refined from an ever decreasing source, the san pedro cactus. We typically 'made our own entertainment'. We were a long way from most drug smuggling routes and our population, at that time a stable 3.3 million was hardly worth the effort and risk with ordinary surburban risktaking substances. So we improvised. [and now sadly there are no san pedro's left outdoors and it's all me and my friends fault]

But now of course I don't take any drugs whatsoever, my body is a temple and i go to church regularly. [Unfortunatately my mind's now a shambles...praise the lord]

                    Mart,

Both "mescaline" and "mescalin" are correct, its just a hilarious comment given the "heroin like a girl" context. Depending on your view of hilarious.
I was coughing blood, but that's just me.

Not knowing what Mescalin was because I spent too much time in church, I had to resort to burning and inhaling Michelin Tires for my fun.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

                              Yah, that was me, Martin.
Sorry about that ankle. However, for what it's worth, you broke my fall and your tuck-n-roll is still the talk of the town.
