I traveled to the tiny mining town of Zortman to perform for their 4th of July. I was set for a 30 minute venting and magic routine but their schedule got messed up and I ended up on stage for an hour and 12 minutes... good thing I have a big mouth.
I filled the time with my figure Rosie, a magic drawing board (history lessons on Abe Lincoln), paper tears, rope and card tricks, Blendo mismatched flag, torn and restorn newspaper and several other gags.
I got great audience interaction -- which I wasn't expecting... from a crowd of about 30 kids and 80 or so adults (in various stages of inebriation).
They loved the show and I was invited back next year!
This could get addictive -- it was only my fourth show!!
I'd stick some photos in here, if I knew how.
