    yep

Dallas,Sharon,Nick, hows's every thing?Looking forward to seeing you guys about the first of June, that is if gas doesn't kill you.Well,I finally got out of Key West!Took the "dog" up to Birtchtree Mo. A place that I've never been,to my daughter's high school graduation. Boy it was a nice and well needed trip. I should be back thursday.,but I'm not looking forward to it! It seems high prices on every thing is really hurting us in key West. I played on Duval street the other day one could shoot a shot gun with bird shot in it down the street and not hit a soul!We now only have about three or four acts working Mallory and only one juggler,Reed, so come on down. The hats want be very good though, there's, just know one here. But look at the bright side we can always go sailing, that is if you guys don't get too drunk and can get up in the morning. Checkers was supposed to have come up here as well from New Orleans but had a slow week their and couldn't afford it. Schmegly went to Ohio last week for the summer, said he might retire, now that he gets a check, and may not come back!I'll miss him, we busked around this country better'n 30 years together.Hell, we played some places that were so far out they hadn't even named them yet.Anyway I've
added some magic, tricks that is, to my show to try and improve my hats, so I have a little different show now. Look forward to seeing you guys soon , love ya Jeep

      What a gas!

I was going to take my biannual (once every 2 years?) trip to Alaska this year. Anchorage Farm Market contributed a bit last time to help defray expenses, but it surely wouldn't have been enough at $4 per gallon (or more by mid summer) to make it worth while.

Even so, I've already committed to being in Seattle in September for my niece's wedding. Hope Pike Place Market is as friendly as it was on my last trip.

Sorry to hear of the drought in K.W. I had hoped to take a sping vacation, but there were so few performers in N.O. and the spring breakers so numerous (and I surely don't want to give up my apartment a block and a half from Jackson Square) that I stuck it out here.

Thank dog (there goes my dyslexia again) I have a hybrid vehicle!

Hey Peter, Thanks for the hospitality last year in NOLA. I'm booked again this year at the State Fair. Hope all is well.

Sat and Sun were good in B-More, but monday sucked, and that's the day I was donating all my tips to a veterans charity and handing out little american flags to all who donated. Big crowds, no big bills. Literally raised half of what I had expected, and a third of what I had hoped for.

the American flag probably killed the hat...should have been giving out the Canadian ones.

I've been talking about this issue for awhile now.And I can only say "It's along way to Key west! But come on down there's plenty of women and whiskey to go around! Le bon temps roul'e ..." Hell I've been stranded here for a while now, and you know, "we all came down here to party and have a good time,right... I just ain't left yet!... So could you help me out with a gallon of gas ?"... "HA HA HA HA ... This guy's pretty good... Hey Martha, throw this guy your change. Would ja?... Come on let's go to Sloppy Joe's and get a beer... see ya later... Can you believe that guy, He only wanted a gallon of gas", as he walks off...Every body knows beer's 5 bucks and don't forget the tip at Sloppy Joe's"... Toodleloo ... May be I should get me one of those "Why lie, I need a beer " signs! P.S. Toodleloo
