hey Evan,
Where are you? Are you still in Amish country?
Joe & I could really use your photography skills for the new act we have. Are you going to be in New England any time soon... how about Vermont? We're doing a lot of out work at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro. Can we tempt you with 50 eggs? No? How about some of the nasty protien supplements that we chug?

Hey Etienne, good to see a post from you. I liked the teaser video you posted earlier. I do in fact still live in Lancaster PA, and I'm trying to buy a house here.
Most of what's on my schedule for the spring is in the south and mid-west, but Jonathan and I will be doing a show at Southern New Hamphsire University on Feb 17 (my girlfriends birthday, woo hoo). I could probably work it out where I stay an extra day to shoot your pictures. I will either have to ship studio gear to you in advance (costs about $60 to ship to LA, not sure about Boston) and I can probably fly it home with me ($25 if I'm on southwest); or we can just rent equipment at your location. Backdrops and light stands will probably have to be rented or borrowed either way because they are not easy to ship.
Okay, to everyone curious . My current day rate for photography is $400. I will take my time and shoot all day if that's what it takes. You get to keep all the shots I shoot and I'll clean up 8 of them if you want it. There are no usage fees. If you buy a website design from Jonathan Burns I will work with him to make sure we have the photos to match the design elements.
I will wave the fee if you have a service you can trade, (Scot is building me a photography web site). I currently need a video editor to do something neat with the footage from our last NACA showcase.
I think if you look around you'll find that my rates are pretty nominal for what you get. I'm not a full time photographer, I'm a performer who likes photography and wants to help other performers get professional photos without spending all their money. I think that in the last year I made around $3,000 on photography projects (includes assistant work for other photogs), and spent around $5,000. I'm not trying to make lots of money, I'm trying to break even.Last edited by Evan Young; Dec-18-2008, 01:11 AM.Comment
