    Balance

A friend just handed me a unicycle the other day. That was strange enough, but now I have to learn to ride the thing. It seems cliche, but it's a lot of fun. It's also much harder than it looks.

P.Netters, how often do you take up a hobby only discover it was hard in ways you never even dreamed of?

I always assumed juggling on a unicyle was easy, I could do both reasonably well, but putting the 2 together took me around 3 months to learn!!!!

It seems like every time I try something new I discover new ways for something to be hard. It's kind of cool, I've been way too busy practicing things that I know and not busy enough learning new things. I'd started to think "that looks easy enough".

It's never that easy. The more it looks that easy the less it is. Apparently I'll be humble so long as there's something else I don't know.
