Anyone want to come and watch?

In 3 weeks time my Melbourne busking permit runs out and I've been told I have to audition for my new one. They have a new full time busking co-ordinater.

In 1985, I fought the council over busking rights and won. The precedent I set forced councils all over Aust. and anywhere else worldwide that operates under Westminster, Anglo-Judaeic laws to recognise our various artforms and accommodate them. I was an advisor to the council in following years as they drafted the busking regulations that have become a model for cities all over the world and I've personally held a Melb. busking permit for 22 years.

I have 2 new shows that I'm experimenting with, as well as my pavement art, and am intrigued by the prospect of being assessed by a couple of 20/something council beaurocrats.

Basically, I have no intension of auditioning but am very keen to see how it goes.

This could be one of my best performances and I'm thinking of selling tickets.
    Every-one should watch their drawers!

How much is that doggie in the window?

Are you kidding? Book me my ringside seats, baby. I'm taking twenny-to-one that it doesn't go three rounds.

      Take 'em to the mat.
