You meant by March 5, right? Wunderbar was awesome, and though we missed some friends (ahem!) who we were expecting (Lynneski still has your housewarming gift for you, Ray) the shows went over quite well. Hilby is a genius, and chose his supporting cast well.
I was lucky to play the ringmaster, a Tiger, Billy Babcheck from Brooklyn, and Signor El Gato. My lovely lady Terri starred as Tiger Lilly, and Catsuana Hoople.
Hilby has a wide range of skills, and applying them to five different characters with seperate routines was a good idea for him. Even in "Mimo", his mime parody,
he is effective and shows real training. Like in his solo show, Hilby gives amazing tricks while making fun of himself. He wrote a grant and was directed in "Wunderbar"; it is a great little circus. Check out the summer "Juggle" for an article I'm writing on Hilby.
Phil is a quiet scream to work with, and a good producer. He treated us all to a tasty mexican lunch, and if you've never done a Silly's show, jump on it. Phil's sharp commentary is worth going to Canada for.
Both Colin and Phil provided cameo bits, with yoyo comedy, and some fine diablo work. We played to warm houses, 2/3 full.
