what war is that soldier fighting? our current wars are not in the jungle. wrong camo
The chick doesn't look very hippy to me, her hair doesn't fit hippie. There are years where main stream fasion uses some hippie fasion concepts.
I don't mind the concept of the sticker at all. having a loved one fighting a war and hearing the daily death tolls must be very stressfull.Last edited by Evan Young; Feb-05-2007, 08:42 AM.Comment

Patriotic poop.
This kind of garbage is annoying and insulting.
I have a brother-in-law and a nephew serving in the Middle East, and neither one of them (or their wives) resembles a cartoon on a sticker.
Cute crap does not support anyone except the people selling it.Comment

I didn't realize I felt that way until you said it. The cartoon makes it seem like a cheezy arcade game.Originally posted by pablo

How many Rush Limbaugh listeners have the same epiphany?
Jesus, Evan I really like you but get a brain and your own point of view. Next thing we know you're going to be typing "I didn't know your joke was funny until I stole it."

I've ben working on my French accent; it's going great.
it's the point about it being cute that made me turn on the logo. In Baltimore we get an occasional marine fresh off the battle field, and the ones who I've talked too have been really stressed out, and really appreciate someone who is intereseted in thier struggle (I never bring up politics with them, it's not fair to them).Comment

Cute support is still support
For the last seven months I’ve been bartending in a V.F.W. (Veterans of Foreign Wars) very flexible schedule and a great place to try out jokes. I’m no fan of this war and my political views are mixed, but I have spent countless hour talking to men and women who are returning from the desert. Everything’s not rosy but they do want our support “cute crap” or not. And from my experience MOST of those profiting from the “cute crap” are loved ones of soldiers who are making things like this for other loved ones. They are all stressed out and they make things like this to display their solidarity. I don’t know where this image came from and it could be someone trying to make a quick buck but that’s not usually the case.Comment
