    Destiny's

So, I'm going to start a chick pop band.
We'll be sort of like "Destiny's Child", but darker and more sexual, like The Pussy Cat Dolls. I'm going to call us, "Destiny's Creepy Uncle".

    Who's in??

PS: All jokes, of course. I just needed to get that out of my head right away. I found it HIGHlaaarious.
(In reality, I'm much more like, "Destiny's School Marm".)
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.

    Your 1st hit? (in Am & G)

It felt like a theft after Trevor had left
And Queenie lost the touch of her horn
She was never the same when her new daughter came
So she split when the baby was born

CHORUS: I’m better off on my own
Got no fear of being alone
I’m better off on my own
Since they kicked me out of the band

Chance is junkie but he’s got a good groove
But he started getting way out of hand
Martin spent some time trying to get him in line
Then they kicked him out of the band.

Rachel came in and caused a big scene
In the middle of our 10 o’clock set.
She had just found a deal had gone down
Between Robert and that groupie he’d met

    CHORUS

The bouncer tried to push through the crowd
Someone hit him with a microphone stand
I flew in a rage and was thrown off the stage
The night they kicked me out of the band

By 1:35 the cops had arrived.
The manager had blood on his face
We hit the floor as they burst though the door
    And started trashing the place

    CHORUS

    Mike sneaked out the back
    And tiptoed straight into jail
He was pissed off and tired and then he got fired
‘Cause we ain't gonna put up no bail

    CHORUS

Add choreography that consists of a lot of gyrating and some intrusive flailing of one’s most provocative parts, and I think we’ve got ourselves a Number One Summer Jam! I've got fishnets! (oh and that reminds me, we should all have matching costumes.)
Way to work like a team, Robert. That's what bands are all about, man!
And as front(wo)man of this band, I command that we sing this (and all) songs to a ballad version of of the tune, “Dude Looks Like a Lady”.
Well, maybe I WILL just keep telling myself that.
