I just thought you all might like a little chuckle at my expense. On Sunday night I stopped to answer the call of nature by the side of a road and trod on an adder...

...which bit me...

The adder is probably fine. I spent a whole night in hospital with lots of needles and electrodes. I am okay now though and my leg is not as swollen as it was...
