    Big Time

Rachel has finally started a very thought-provoking thread. And you gotta love anything by Joni Mitchell, as long as she's singing it instead of some lame ass copycat.

Warren Zevon is also a personal favorite. The world is a much less intriguing place without him.

But I'm going to go with "Big Time" by Peter Gabriel.

Pass the ego, hold the irony.

"Desperate, But Not Serious" (by Adam Ant) for me,
"White and Nerdy" for my stage persona.

Jester's Waltz by Bill White (which I actually use, as it is royalty free music).

I think mine would have to be "Damn Sam (I love a woman that rains) - by Ryan Adams.

I just love the line, "I'm as calm as a fruit-stand in New York and maybe as strange", sums me up completely

sometimes, when I walk out the front door, I imagine that "Welcome to the Jungle" is playing at top volume, and that everyone can hear it.

Right now, I guess it would have to be 'Singin in the Rain', or not singing in the rain, which is probably closer to the mark here in England.

It's a song. You should search TISM out, I think you'd like them.

I wonder if there is a song titled 'it's cold outside and i've got an outdoor gig today '
                        if not I'll go with
                        'winter came early this year'
                        Headless Chickens

                        actually real winter never came.

                          "On The Road", Max Webster.

Lyrics here if you wanna know why:

Today, I've twice rehearsed to Rafael's "Bolero", interspersed with ear-splitting blasts of Monsarrat Caballe and Freddie Mercury's "Barcelona" that probably violated noise pollution laws 15 miles away. Ida Haendel is playing violin on the DVD during breaks.

Thanks to a chilli lunch, any thing by "Classical Gas" would be a suitable theme song for today.
