    "Items for Sale" aint enough.

How do you actually sell a show?

I have a beautiful show that I devised years ago, that I can't (never could) perform and would like to see some-one doing. I'm looking for expressions of interest.

It needs the skills of a good percussionist, even better if you sing and understand Tea-chest bass (not me). It also requires some basic costume and character skills, clowning is a distinct advantage but not nesessary as the show will teach you anyway. Most performers would already have most props and costume requirements but would cost less than $600 if starting from scratch.

It is a full show with a complete narrative from a startlingly unique crowd build (2-3 variations) to a body and finale that are totally open to the individual skills and direction each performer. The characters are very flexible and it can involve more than one player (better). There are several signficant and infinite minor variations. The closures might even impress Martin.

Rehearsal time depends on who you have to workshop it with, etc but I bet I could put a cameo version of it on the stage at Edmonton Fest theatre shows with several of the performers here. Some people would be ready to try it within 2 hrs of assembling the props.

It is quite theatrical but needs a percussionist/s looking to explore other performance skills.

I will only to sell it to a recognised performer contributing to p.net as I'd like to document the whole thing here.

Cost is fully negotiable but has little to do with my motive. The buyer has to agree to fully documenting this process here with me. I think the discussion will be very valuable.

      The show has been sold.
I'm tidying and customising it for the buyer and will deliver by the end of the week. The buyer has agreed to document everything here so the next post should be their reaction to it.
