Trevor Rooney
Trevor Rooney was a guy with a lot of issues and he was carelessly abused by some.
You don't have to be an over educated post graduate to recognise that some people are really harmless, and baiting them will only serve to do far more harm to them than amuse others.
Every time I read his stuff alarm bells would be going off really loudly saying "Handle with care!"
I have always been shocked at how cruel some people could be to Trevor, who I like to think soldiers on with his life, frustrated in his ambitions by people who should really know a lot better.
Kicking Trevor (which is exactly what Martin does because although he is very clever, he is still a few thousand candles short of enlightenment) was like throwing stones at the homeless, or beating up drunks, or poking chained up animals with sticks.
Then people would pick on Queenie or her other alias who assures me she is Trevors Sister.
I just always got the feeling that while it may be some horrible elaborate joke, there was some deep unhappiness and frustration in Trevors work, but instead of getting support he was abused by the mediocre
That said, some of Martins responses were very funny. Some of them however were just cheap and mean.
