Halloween

Anyone here do something interesting for halloween? Did you get a neat costume or go to a spiffy soiree? I wanted to go out for halloween as Etienne but I couldn't, as much as I tried, will my hair to grow that fast.

I actually wanted to go to my friend's party as Ambassador Kosh, but that'd have taken far too long. Kudos to anyone who knows what Ambassador Kosh is, by the way.

So yeah, who did neat things for halloween?

Pink Tie Affair goes red, White and Blue

Was asked to do meet 'n greet for the
Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure folks at their posh "pink tie" affair. Theme was "Pink Tie, goes Red, White and Blue". So Uncle Sam was a natural.

The mayor of Denver and Vip's were in attendence. I left before Jay Leno's appearance . Top item at the auction was
a beautiful Thunderbird. The valet parking guys were kept busy parking various jags,
Corvets, a Prowler and a beautiful Rolls!

.. and then there were none ...

I invited about 50 people to my place. 1 showed up. Thank goodness he did, because in 2.5 hours I went through 7 bags of candy to the trick-or-treaters and this friend was kind enough to do a candy run for me.

My yard had the following items in it (3-dimensional latex props):

A skeleton sitting on my fence wearing a pink feather boa
A skeleton sitting on my wooden bench wearing sunglasses
A skeleton sitting next to it reading the paper
2 skeltons sword fighting
2 severed vampire brides' heads hanging from my tree
A lighted skeleton coming out of the ground
A demon head & hands coming out of the ground
A zombie coming out of the ground and being attacked by a demon dog
A mini-gallows with 4 severed heads hanging on it (2 in cages)
A skeleton torso leaning on the base of the gallows
A skeleton with a sword through its chest
A skeleton kneeling down holding it's hand
A shovel sticking in the ground with a severed hand attached
A bunch of random severed hands on the fence, gallows and door
An evil clown mask in a window with an eerie light on it
3 pirate skeletons hanging from the house
2 convict skeletons hanging from the house

And a double line of impaled severed heads lining the sidwalk from the intersection to my front door. :*)

God! I LOVE Halloween!!!
