I saw a guitarist working a chilly November evening in Harvard Square. I asked him if his fingers were cold. He said "Yeah. Freezing. When they get really cold, I just think of how warm they would be with all the warm water, if I was working a dishwashing job".

          Warning: Rambling to follow ...

          I have no motivation today.

It's dark and overcast out. There is a steady drizzle. I feel cold and tired and I want to go home (from Day Job) and get some sleep -- I only got 3.5 hrs this morning because last night was Halloween and I had to put most of the things away before the end of the night.

I'm not being very productive, as you all can see from the number of posts on here. But I need the money to pay the bills (she says languidly looking at the sealed envelope for the garbage collectors). Especially since the "current" husband tends to spend out his butt when I'm not around, or to "get even with me" when he's pissed at me for some strange conversation that took place only in his head and didn't really include the me from the outside world.

A co-worker whom I really like got laid off and today is his last day. I turned the calendar and see that I have a rehearsal for the Vagina Monologues on the 6th, a 2 day gig at a Convention Center grand opening on the 13th and 14th. And I sent out an invoice for a gig on 12/4 clearly stating that they may cancel up to 1 month before the gig without financial repercussions, but cancellation less than 1 month before the gig results in them still needing to pay the juggler as per the agreement.

Only 6 more hours to go.
Then I have the juggling club tonight.
I love juggling. My hands are all busted up from this weekend. I made a lot of progress on several 4 knife patterns. *sigh*
