Oh so I take it eric wont be attending this years WJF event....Don't worry, I am not gonig to go either, it's not that I don't want to, it's just that I am afraid my 3 ball cascade isn't up to par. Damn it!

PS here is the website for those of you who dont know about it

Won't make it. Can't afford it. If I could, I'd go to support Cindy. I hope she gets enough silent support from those who are afraid to open their mouths.
"I think I am missing something here, or you're just making things up."
Oh, there are just so many gosh darn strange things going on in the world that I'd be pretty darn pressed to make something up stranger than what is going on, eh?

Relax Taxi, I never targeted you, don't get so defensive.
Not defensive, lad, sparring. Having enjoyed your posts for awhile, I judged you a fairly worthy opponent, and wanted to look into it. No feather ruffling intended. Uh, that is, beyond the feather ruffling I did intend.
As it's obvious beyond argument, I'll concede that Garfield is a genius as concerns juggling, and far more interesting as an entity than the lot of us. But I already conceded that.
Just wish he was a little more loveable. I'd settle for likeable. Or less hateable. What a pill.
I just checked out the WJF website in depth. You know what-- grafield may be a prick, but this looks like one hell of a convention he's putting together. It should be interesting.
I definitly agree, it will be interesting to see what happens, even more interseting to see if it last for more than a year, Jason did do a pretty good job so far...I wonder why Jay Giligan and Mike Price are not on that list of competitors. They both are very good jugglers, i know Jason and Mike dont get along to well, but it would be fun to watch them compete, again.
I dont think Cindy is going to be competing this year...sorry....
Don't you guys GET it? It's his ACT. I've talked to him a couple of times in person and he seemed completely cool to me. He's playing a character... and yes the character may spill over into his web site and in public forums and magazines... but it's a character. He's "Andy Kaufman-ing" all of you... complete with the WWF-style trash talking and posturing.
I hadn't heard of the WJF until this thread. The web site is impressive. If they accomplish what they say they will (Five 30-minute ESPN2 programs) it will show juggling to millions of people in a way they've never seen it before... with the BEST jugglers in the world. I can't wait. I think the juggling world needs a good shot in the ass. Let Garfield be Garfield.
Re: Re: "Jason garfield being a prick..."
I was hoping no one would actually spell it out, and that they would eventually figure it out themselves. Oh, well, I'll have to find hope for humanity somewhere else.
