    Censure Bush

If you are interested Moveon.org is petitioning to Censure Bush for misleading the country regarding WMD's here is an introduction letter from Moveon.org and a link to the petition. As of yesterday they had 250,000 signatures.

"In an attempt to evade responsibility for the misleading statements that pushed the nation into war, Bush has announced plans to form an independent inquiry to look into what went wrong. An inquiry would serve the Bush administration well: it would envelop the issue in a fog of uncertainty, deflect blame onto the intelligence services, and delay any political damage until 2005, after the upcoming election.

But the facts need no clarification. Despite repeated warnings from the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency, President Bush and his administration hyped and distorted the threat that Iraq posed. And now that reality is setting in, the President wants to pin the blame on someone else. We can't let him.

Congress has the power to censure the President -- to formally reprimand him for betraying the nation's trust. If ever there was a time for this, it's now.

Join our call on Coongress to censure President Bush.

You cant put all the blame on him, there's only so many words you can spell out phonetically...

It's too bad you brought this up in the winding down of his reign, it's a great idea.

You're right, we can't put all the blame on King George II. I also blame Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, John Ashcroft, Karl Rove, and Fox News Corp. I also blame the willfull ignorance of the American people who cheered it all on at the time.

When the war drums pounded, the trumpets blew, and the flags waved americans just got in line like the rats who followed the pied piper of hamlin.

        Tony Blair

Yeah Well don't forget that Tony Blair gave the whole thing credibility. I mean nobody was on Bushs side save 5 sychophantic Grand Viziers and then along comes The Prime Minister who up until then could apparently do very little that was wrong.

So being the only world leader with any shred of influence over dubya he then decides to go along with him by way of thanks for kosovo.

        Hmmmm!

Anyway Censure is no good. If a BJ with a researcher merits a call for impeachment, misleading the western world must surely rank in there somewhere.

Besides everybody knows that WMDs and Lord Lucan and the end of the rainbow are in Syria living with Elvis who must be alive because if you rearrange the letters in his name it spells Lives.
