    New Zealanders: Help

Hi. I have a bit of an odd request.

I've got a good friend from the USA, Jeff, who is travelling alone in New Zealand and he has suddenly found himself in the hospital for some really serious stuff. A visit from a friendly face -- even one by proxy -- I believe would help him immensely.

Is there anyone in New Zealand right now with a few spare minutes? Especially in the area of Waikato?

If you have time, inclination, and desire to visit a fun Yankee goofball who could really use some cheer in a moment of need, please contact me off list for details. The visit itself can be as short as 10-15 minutes, or longer if you are enjoying yourself. Bring a couple of props. Do a trick or two. Tell a joke or two. Listen to his jokes (some are even funny!). He's also a great musician, so if you have an extra guitar, he'd probably love to jam.

I may be able to throw in a few bucks for petrol and lunch, if that will entice you.

You may email me at Rich@RichPotter.NET

Thank you thank you thank you.

Thank you New Zealand: Jeff update

    UPDATE 1/31/04
Thanks to all of you kind hearted New Zealanders who wrote to me off list, wanting to help. As it turns out, my friend is no longer on New Zealand soil and just touched down in the US to have his operation here near friends and family. It was an iffy thing whether he could make the flight, but in the end numerous doctors eventually reached a consensus and let him travel 1/2 a world away.

Send him good ju-ju as they cut him open in Baltimore.
