It is just an extention of a terrible joke.

"Performance Enhancing Drugs" are normally stimulants that athletes should not take in order to cheat.

The world of "performance art" however has many people who take so called "mind expanding drugs."

I just thought that if it enhances performance then the world of performance should clamp down on this cheating too. And it opened a can of worms which some people took very well and others less so.

I am opposed to most illegal drugs and do not take the ones I would like to see legalised because I believe that the law is part of our essential "social contract." I don't take the drugs that are illegal and in return people don't fuck my kids because that's illegal too. Even if they disagree with the law, I expect them not to.
