    Travelling with Fire Gear

does anyone have any experience travelling with fire poi (chains) or staff??? (I"ve tried to search for old threads with little success so I thought I'd post a new topic)

Have a fire dance student who wants to travel with her wicks to the east coast and wondering what the best course of action is to take when travelling with her wicks.

I assume that common sense takes over in this situation in that you shouldn't travel with fuel (duh!)but what about packing them? Carry on luggage? Suitcase?

Curious to know about international travel as well as I'll be doing that sometime in the near future.

If there are old threads that I"ve missed please don't hesitate to point me in that direction as well.

    Tanks a tonn!

Here in Europe , the hardest part of a travelling fire show is not the actual travelling , its weather or not you will be allowed to play . Ie POLICE problems !!! The poli in Spain or Portugal will , most of the time stop any show involving fire , the only exception being fiesta time .I myself have stopped using fire ,enviromental issues being the strongest reason .I use illuminated equipment made by Aero Tech ,the best alternative .
