    Moving a lot

So here I am. I leaving town for the sixth time in a year. Breaking up with the third girlfriend in a year for "geographic" reasons. It's the least favorate part of my job.

Does this job get better as you get older? Please be honest.

Job?? Hmmm. For me, while I treat it like a business, it is more like a second childhood. LIFE, however, can get better as you get older.

For some people, it all comes together early. For others, well, with increasing age and experience, comes increasing ability to face life's little challenges. For some things, there just is no substitute for experience.

And good judgement. If you don't want the problems associated with x, y, or z, well then don't "do", or associate with, x, y, or z.

Good luck. Do well, be well.

      Ethan,
It becomes more comfortable. If you like comfort, then, yes it's better.

oh crap, I don't remember writing that. The empty bottle of vodka in the kitchen suggests I probably did.
ewww... just try and ignore me.

there there, evan, maybe you are just meant to be alone in this life. Wandering from town to town, throwing your clubs, insulting strangers and living off whatever scraps people throw into your hat. You may even find some transient happiness from time to time in the form of alcoholism... hey, it sounds like you're well on your way!!!

p.s. you are old enough to drink, right?

O yes, the alcohol is great indeed, a close runner up to smack and blow; it deffintetly does the trick. I would be more into the halucinagenic stuff, but it makes it hard to perform.....(JK)
gosh, yes I'm old enough to drink. I'm even old enough to legally purchase alcohol in the USA!
(Sigh), my most recent ex girlfriend will turn 21 tomorrow.

I've lost a wife to this job already. If I didn't love it so much, I'd be worried about that. Lossing track of the girlfriends/roadies/groupies etc.. Still trying to find the magical women who lives by a dream pitch or is able to tour with me. (Preferablly one whom I don't have to support, and demands I quit working so hard in the process)Who knows might happen eventually, otherwise I'll probally keep dating younger women who are more willing to put up with my lifestyle. If it does get easier, I don't know. Have to check back to see if someone comes up with an answer. ;>

man, you guys don't even know how attractive this girl is. I would have thought she was out of my league is she hadn't gottn' me liquored up and drug me to her room one night...... and she's an art student(major bonus points)..... and has her own money (very rare with the girls I date)! It was like a dream come true for three short weeks. I didn't even have time to make her fall in love with me.
Still, my wander lust is much stronger than...... anything else. know what I'm saying? I don't have a sence of "home" these days and I'm fine with that.

                              Yeah, there's always the wanderlust.

I know this mystical, exciting, and enchanting feeling as I'm sure most of us do, but there's always something to be said about going to a place you call home, don't you think Evan?

                              Maybe I'm just a wuss.
