So...you lied to us. You're not going to a doctor at all.

    Tsk, tsk.

Rest and fluids... maybe you're doing half of that.

When your life insurance company cuts a check to your mom, will she get you a CAT scan then?

        Jim,

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties in finding a doctor, but it also makes me feel very relieved that I live in England. You don't need health insurance here. What you do instead is pay for gasoline/petrol that cost about 4 or 5 times as much as it does in the States ( along with really expensive VAT instead of State sales tax ) and then you get free health care. Of course we'll probably get some Brits replying to this message whinging about the overburdened/ inefficient state of the National Health Service, but that is only because they can't help themselves from whinging. It is a national past time after all and I for one am getting sick and tired of all the whinging. They just go on and on complaining all the time about everything....... WHOOPS I think I've been living here too long.

I've heard several stories about visitors to Britain who have needed to see the doctor for some reason while they are here and they have been see to by the doctor with no hassles about citizenship or insurance or whatever. Yeah, you sometimes have to wait a bit, but big deal.

So I suggest you promptly go through British Customs with all your props. Do some shows over here and then go tell the doctor you fell on the cobbles at Covent Garden.

(spoken like Dr.Zoidberg) "So, Jim, tell me how is your head?"

Well, folks, I am happy to say that yesterday was the three week "weekiversary" of the fall and I felt 100% all day. I woke up with no pain, wooziness, dizziness or anything. I carried on as usual and since it was pretty rainy (no street performing) I was out doing yardwork all day. I was so busy and active, I forgot all about my head. Then I finished, cleaned up, ate dinner and went to bed. I felt completly normal. Today I'm a bit tired, but my head is just fine. My coordination seems to be back, too. I say with another week of taking it easy, I should be good to go.

It has been pretty frustrating, but I am definitely improving day by day so that feels good. My shows have been fine, too.

It's still raining in Boston, but I'm going to go dig in my garden. Ahhh...

            Thanks for all your concern.

Sounds like you can go ahead and spend your Catscan money on manure and mulch. If it turns out that you made a big mistake by not seeking medical attention and you do blow a brain gasket, then there will be nice fresh flowers for the funeral, and that's always nice. If you do suffer a debilitating crainial infarction, that causes you to live out your life as a vegetable, then you certainly will appreciate the nice garden soil.
