Hi just thought I'd post an update on the Stratford upon Avon pitch in uk.
Last year a permit of £52 a day was introduced. This year we have got it down to £10 a day which is great. Some pitches (on red bricks) are free as it's owned by someone else- the public.
They are small but okay for cups and balls, statues and drunks.
The main pitch is in my opinion is the best spot in England. Being mostly quiet in terms of distraction. It's a big full circle job.
Whilst £10 is better than £52 some feel it's a bit of a joke. Judge the spontaneous poet tested the water last week by refusing (politly) to pay. He was arrested and taken away to the nearest open nick. He was charged something. We are not sure what exactly and niether are the bill.
After an hour and a half they kindly dropped all charges and gave Judge a lift back.
It's a civil matter so council will bill Judge privately, go for a court ban or most likely do sod all. Which is the way it's always been.
If your passing our way feel free no to pay
cheers G Animal
