Peter doesn't deserve this, but he's ugly, and he doesn't deserve that either.

I constantly say PEOPLE before i say anything really important,i think it makes me believe that it grabs their attention ,then they hear the statement.
As for the here we go's,I seem to have developed a sick comical laugh that i wasn't aware of until people started telling me,when a line goes flat or there is a pause.
But mark definately takes the cake as far as the here we goes are concerned.
If you all don't mind i'd like to start "the book of mark" thread.i just think some of the things he says in his show are so insightful and profound,if you have any quotes from mark farneth at harvard sq,lets hear them.

      1st book of mark quote

As you'll notice ,some of our neighbours are fleeing in fear, this is a direct reflection of their upbringing.

I have several habits in my show which could do with deletion. I often fart, though mercifully it tends to be silent and smells only of lilacs. I chagrin frequetly, though that might pass as farting, come to think of it. It wouldn't hurt my show to lose the beginning altogether. The middle is only of middling value, and I think I could ditch the finale with no harm done.
I had a mild form of turretts syndrome, and used to shout things at hecklers like "You gosh darned unpleasant person!", but since Waterloo late night, its gotten bad. Now, I can be often heard to scream "Cocksucking Beaver Fucker!", in a show or not.
Beyond that, I do scratch my ass alot. And tend to drop stuff.
One of my favorite comments from Marko, my beloved friend and original teacher in 1985-6, is not scripted, but did come out once in awhile 2 summers ago. He'd look a punter in the eye (in the soul, to be honest) and say "Careful there sir, you might wake up." In the context of his very challanging, in-your-psyche style show, it landed beautifully. In his way, Marko is brilliant.
