    bubbles

    hey,

i would love to learn how to do amazing things with bubbles. I have been playing with bubbles lately and accidentally made a cubic bubble in the middle of a bunch of bubbles. I figured if you can do this than you can do a whole bunch of things and if there is someone who knows about it they're here on performers.net. If anyone has an answer or an idea of where to find one let me know. Thanks for your helps.

THE bubble man, as seen on the Tonight Show back in the '70's, has posted to performers net in the past if you care to search the archives. I'm afraid to say I can't remember his name, although I am sure there are some readers out there who can and probably some who know him. Ask an old guy like the Butterfly Man ( sorry Robert just a little joke ).

      Mark,
An old colleague of mine, does this stuff for a living. He's up in either upstate new york or connecticut.

An extremely unique program combining high energy entertainment with artistic achievement, BubbleMania is loaded with visual comedy, quick wit, big band swing music and the untamed, often unbelievable qualities of spherical liquids. Programs available for Science Assemblies, Corporate & Civic Events, Libraries, Theaters, Cruise Ships, Science Fairs, Museums.

The bubble guy Rex is referring to is Tom Noddy from Santa Cruz. We just had him out for a fester here - great show - likely the most renowned bubble guy in the world, an odd distinction if there ever was one. Don't know if he workshops, he's mainly doing science museums and some variety schnaw in Germany - but he has several how-to books out all available on Amazon.com, Tom Noddy's bubble magic etc. Check his website - www.TomNoddy.com

            Hey Raoul,

thanks for the info. I knew an "old" guy would know the answer.

I had a look at Tom's website. Very nice. Make sure you read the web log part for some very interesting writings.
