    frack needs gigs

frack is broke and bored, anyone help frack out? what could be better than doing a gig with a frack. or just take pity and send frack a couple of bucks. can't busk here in cincinnati the police suck monkey ass. anyone want to adopt a frack as their kid? already can say his abc's and very smart for his age. your very own frack. apply now limited number of fracks available. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, say it aint so. is frack going to have to find a "NORMAL" part time job till the gigs pick up. no one wants that do they. frack having to follow some rules of a job. yeah people get tired of hearing a "yep yep" boss will surely hate it yep yep he will. your very own frack comes with swords, hammer and nails, pots and pans, barstool and bungee cords, bed of nails, sledge hammer, safety goggles, torches, toenail collection (it is very impressive). frack has two ferrets to support. as there they lay looking all sweet and innocent. just waiting for frack to turn his back for a second to gnaw off his ankles. it's like the time when frack was a weee frack and the trailer caught fire on christmas night. luckily frack staying up later than he should saved the family, yep yep. maybe frack go start another cincinnati riot. the cincinnati buskers riot. everyone grab there uni and rola bola and frack will lead the riot. yep yep the greatest riot for all the ages. one that will go down in history as the one that made a stand. just watch out on your uni those police in cincinnati like to shoot those bean bags from there guns so if on a giraffe uni might hurt to fall off. yep yep the buskers riot of cincinnati so frack won't be broke. great plan it is. unless of course someone wants to just adopt frack? imagine there faces seeing an army of uni's coming there way, hehheeheh. and if they shoot the bean bags pick them up after they hit the ground and juggle them, ohhhh imagine the expressions on there face when that happens. maybe firegirl could show that tongue transfer before it all starts just to get everyone excited to riot? oh yeah and remember ban skyline chili, they are evil. ummm and frack thinks that's it, don't remember where all this story went or not. uhhhhh so enjoy the story find frack a gig, yep yep frack attack.

Time to hit the road, Frack. There's a lot of territory out there.

You know Frack, I sent you some contacts a few months back when you polled for performing opportunities before. I didn't hear back. I will try again on the board, but if you want to work, then you should aggressively seek it out and not ignore the helping hand when it comes your way.

If they are still around, contact Showstoppers in Cinci. They were in business as recent at two years ago, and had been around since the early eighties. They do lots of small corporate gigs and might have use for a freak-variety act. I worked with them for several years about a decade ago. They book Coney Island in town. Also, look into Blue Monkey Sideshow (Blue Monkey Sideshow). They are out of Indy (less than two hours from you). They perform side-show stuff in small theaters, colleges and fairs.

Web searches for Louisville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus and Detroit spew forth long lists of agencies who book talent and modeling.

Or, you can sit and wait for the phone to ring.

If you contact them, I would suggest that Frack decides to refer to himself in the first person. The third person stuff can be off putting to a potential client, or in this case, agents.

yep yep frack tried to find the showstoppers with no luck. think they no longer exist in cinci. the talent agencies around here just shot frack down, so frack gave up on trying for them and going solo without (maybe a mistake should bug them again). blue monkey = not hiring. frack did appreciate all the help and still does, just it lead to dead ends for frack. thanks though for reminding think will try the agencies again around here and blue monkey one more time. yep yep frack attack.

Frack, I have found it is often worth trying some things more than once.

You may have to be creative. Traditional venues will probably not be interested in freaky acts. I was thinking that maybe you might find some work modeling. For example, take a quick look at: Maya Advertisement This is a magazine ad for Maya, a 3-D graphics CAD tool.

Look into the venues that support the sideshow/freak show circuits. There are lots of little clubs in college towns that book these shows for off nights to help sell drinks. If you have enough material to book yourself as an autonomous show, then you might find some success with these.

Get a good (interesting?) promotional photo if you want to get in the files with the agencies. Then, when you do get a reasonable gig lined up somewhere, invite the agent reps to come and watch (that means send them tickets and schmoose). This technique can work in lieu of a good promotional video. It may not lead anywhere, but when one is as specialized as a tattoo/nail eating/pierce lifting/etc. act is, all you need is one good contact and away you go!

Be imaginative. If you are a one of a kind, then you may have to create your own venue.

And yes, keep calling them back again, and again, and again...
