    guinness

    Just to say,
    Happy St Patricks day

And sorry if you are overseas and you have to make do with a warm watery brown version of the cold thick black stuff we have here.......

    Love em

Bah. Would that that were the only problem. Worse is that we have to deal with publicans drowning even the lager in green food dye! Imagine, if you will, a pub crammed to the smoky rafters with people shouting "Who the *fuck* is Alice?" with great flapping green tongues ... <shiver>

Nuff to make you wish for the snakes to come back.

I was in Belgium for a bit... damnn good beer in belgium. Why isn't there a day to celebrate belgian beer?

Then again, they did give us Jean Claude Van Damme and that is unforgivable.

Beer in England... ehhhh, it's ok. But I'd rather a pint o' scrumpy and put on a Wurzels' record! Ooooh Arrrr!

Yes, it's true, I take it all back. I was stuck in these horrid holiday parks where they only served grolsch and carling. I should be back in the UK soon, it would be great to meet up for a good pint somewhere.

p.s. non-sequitor: I think "Spotted Dick" would be a fantastic name for a street performer or punk band

I once drank something called "Cripple Dick".
I think that was a cider.

Good job I'm nearly all female.....

I have a collection of about a hundred odd beer bottles I've collected over the last three years and have drunk far more odd beers at festivals than I care (or can) remember. there's a good fest here in Southampton uk and there's a fantastic one with 500 odd ales in cambridge I think.
Perhaps the populus of p.net should decend upon one of them, do some performing and get lashed.
              Anyone up for it?
