    Flickr

    I've been flickr'd:
Flickr photos, groups, and tags related to the "thejimshow" Flickr tag.

I got home from a festival the other day and didn't have any shots of my shows. So I checked out flickr and within 24 hours, two separate people had uploaded photos of me.

I have a feeling this will become more common this summer with all the camera phones around.

      nailed it

i nailed a show today in japanese for japanese people. Slow build, held my crowd until the end and got paid. It was the first time i have ever succeeded to a level close to what I have been wanting.
I fell asleep on the train home....

        hi-Larry-ous

Larry Norman -- "The Granddaddy of Christian Rock"
In the 60's he was too rock for the Christians and too Christian for the rockers. In a lot of ways he got the worst of both worlds. He was however opening for the likes of Jimmi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and was touring with The Who. He's got a lot of amazing stories.

        Scroll four down.

"Note From Mr. God" -- my student film from 2004. Now officially released.

I'm glad my student work could be used for something more than just a nice portfolio. yayay.

          rumples record

I just performed for 26 hours on the streets of Salisbury without disengaging from my audiences once (even when I needed the loo). I did this in public, in the rain, with three heavy showers and one short hailstorm, through the night...

I raised £3,000 for charity... Okay Rumple, I know you are going to beat it but for now the record is MINE!

          hahah!

nothing to do with performance, as usual...

For once my incessant rambling and advice-giving has come to some good! I just received a copy of David B. Levy's new book, "Your Career in Animation, How to Survive and Thrive". An NYC animator, best known for being the director of Blue's Clues.
We met once in Ottawa, while waiting for a bus, and we talked about stools, stool, and squeegee kids. It was one of the funnest convos I've had with a perfect stranger.

He interviewed me a few years ago when I was jobless (oh how life comes full circle). I haven't read the whole thing yet, but I see myself, my quotes, and some pictures crammed throughout the "Networking" chapter (which I just realized is my spiritual gift) and the "Surviving Unemployment" chapter, where I go on about gambling job offers, the downfall of pride, and ethics. ...wow. That makes it sound like I actually know what I'm talking about.

I'll have to read the book now. ...not just because I'm in it. But that's fun too.

              wee!

Performed for the Prime minister of New Zealand last night.

Got to shake hands and everything. We had a very awkward chat. I told her i liked her boots.

                    They were very nice

Maybe it was awkward because she thought you said boobs.

                        Nice Video Scot

Is that you snogging the girl? Were you cast in the video or did you just happen to be there on a date?

I like the song. Very retro.
