Robert and others have encouraged me to write more
They have also said that I’ll never make any real money on the street because I’m too obtuse to have any mass appeal.
Supportively they’ve also suggested that any pain I could endure is less than I deserve.
    Under the
‘So much time..So little attention span’ section of my links page I have a new collection called
    ‘Lurks Road Rage Reader’ ,
3 or 4 of them have been on these boards but there are 12.
My next announcement will be when I finish ,An Autobiography of Head Injuries.

Well, I think I should maybe just drop my webby address, that's hype enough, I guess.

Huzzah and heavy hats to all.

I've got some more publicity too!

Nearly a full page article in the Washington Post...

I'm also in a lot of smaller papers around here, including the Greenbelt News and Review, the Prince George Sentinel, the Greenbelt Gazette, and a couple of other ones.

And I made the Providence Journal people section (sadly not online)

(I posted this 2 days ago but it hasn't turned up on the boards yet-not on my computer anyway--So I'm repeating the process, I will not be snubbed by electricity)

Two days ago I had a show which was heckled by three very drunk teenage boys... and today I found this waiting for me in my mailbox:

              Hi Chance !
I saw your street show yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 1st April) and I must admit that
it was really great. Perfect performance! And, of course, I gave you the "normal price"
for your show (i. e. ATS 100) ... and so did my girl-friend. Just for the simple reason that you've been worth it. But there's still one thing we're interested in: some drunken (or even stoned) guys permanently disturbed your show. How did you finally manage to get rid of these bastards? We were quite impressed how you handled the situation (which is not that easy when you are chained ...) and how you tried to employ various strategies. It was very interesting from a psychological point of view. However, there's one thing we know: u r definitely NOT our last chance ...;-))
But, who knows, maybe one day we may be your clients. Really good show !!
              C U, Manfred

Jester, how much you willing to bet on that? If something, then get ready to pay up. If nothing, then how about shutting the fuck up?

This is so dumb and clever at the same time I don't know what to do about it.
In May, "PacPrint" is happening in Melbourne. "PacPrint" is a once every 2 years international conference of printers (the guys who print serious shit like newspapers and stuff).
Heidelberg Press, who make the "block of flats sized" machines that every one uses, are of course showing off their latest, you beaut, shit hot machine (it cost a couple of hundred thousand just to bring it here and set it up). They, of course, needed some thing for this thing to print to show what it could do.
I knew nothing of this until a couple of days ago. We have been away and the Prof works in mysterious ways. It seems that Heidelberg would be delighted to print up a set of 16 postcards of our "Body Art" images (whilst we do it in public place, people, ultimately we are visual artists). The deal was they would distribute the postcards around the 5000 or so international delegates and show off their machine and we could have all the free cards that we want.
                    Cool deal, eh?
Unfortunately, this afternoon, I've just discovered that they will run the machine for 1 hour 3 times a day for 3 days and intend to deliver the cards 2 days after. I've also discovered that the machine prints 10000 sheets (of 16 postcards) per hour and whilst "Heidelberg" plan to distribute about 20,000 cards to the people at the conference they plan to deliver 1,410,000 (yes that is one million, four hundred and ten thousand) postcards to our place. I think the truck delivering them is actually bigger than my house.
I suppose I could have put this up in the "Postcards" topic in another forum but ....... no.
                    "It never rains, it pours"

PS. Wow, you are a rude, insecure individual, chance.

                            I got the part!
An American Film Institute (AFI) film (that means free), entitled:
"The Dance" written by Craig Horning
                            directed by Annabelle Frost

They were looking for an aging street performer father who used to have a good act ... ok, so that might be a bit of a stretch.

one foot in front of the other, Robert ...

We have just finished performing 2 days(sponsored)with our Jazz Marionettes at Jazzfest.
Our crowds weren't QUITE as big as B.B. King, Paul Simon, or the Neville Brothers for example, but we did have fun. Kelly.
