the best act I saw this year was either Barney Bay (who is a superb juggler) or Jonathan the Jester (Who happens to be my boss, and is standing over me with a custard pie at this very moment).

I think I have to agree with Byron, I saw Tic and Tac about 2 weeks ago and thay are good, thay run what has to be the longest break dance show I have seen yet thay keep the crowd and make BIG!!! hats.
I like this topic as I watch all the street performers I can, and at times go out of my way to do so.

The best shows I ever saw were:
The WaldoWoodhead Show with Witlo the drummer.
            Arsene in Paris.
Lee Ross with Master Lee in 88.
Twist and Shout, Checkerboard Guy, and the Union Street Juggler himself (Brian Hulse), all in one group, 1988.
            Pepe.
            Brian Ried.
Thousands of others, just as good.
            This year:
a nice old blues guitar guy.

                  best in oz

Popeyed are 1 of the best street acts I've seen. They're 2 australian guys who do incredible acrobalance stuff, and play very funny russian characters. You will never see anyone as flexible and strong as Rudi working the street. They won the shizouka world cup thingy a few years back.
