    Michael,

I'm not sure if you've had many responses to your post here. If not I can suggest a few things to make your offer more appealing. Actually just one.

With regard to pay, the types of performers who have the skills that you've said your looking for, and who have the type of promo that you've asked for have prices that match their skill and commitment.

For comparative value, through out the summer I might work one day for $450, I might, but probably not. If you're committed to getting good talent for your event I suggest reworking your budget along those lines.

I hope that helps. all the best!

Well, based on my experience in the theme park venue, I would say that $450/wk. plus some benefits is a pretty reasonable starting point - particularly for a place like Hearshy Park (not one of the really big parks like Disney or Busch).

The quality level that they are seeking is pretty clear, since the description for jugglers says "must be able to pass clubs and be able to do tricks with both clubs and balls".

It isn't fair to compare a daily rate with the weekly rate Michael is offering that is based on a several month contract with a large organization. If you want to cash in with the theme parks, and fetch a high end fee, you will have to produce the show yourself, sub-contracting the entire production with the park. Only then will you see anything above performer's-minimum wage.

My guess is that is what Michael is doing.

These gigs are not for everyone. If you do them, you won't make much money, but if you are a student, summer work performing anywhere that provides steady, and predictable, income may be welcomed alternative to flipping burgers or hanging clothes. The experience can be worth more than the cash.
