I don't know these people but I did go to their website and its spankingly dynamic.
So this tells me they're not working out of a garage.
Also asian business in general is founded on relationships being cultured in a sort of almost formal dance.
The company has stated its need and left an e-mail address so that who-ever wants to can contact them and establish a relationship.
I doubt very much they will be inclined to answer questions put by strangers on a public forum.
It makes them look defensive.
They have asked for expressions of interest. I doubt they'll see any need to revisit this post once they put up their initial invitation.
I think my point is this, you can't demand information from these people, you have to ask nicely.
I'm not saying anythings wrong or right, I'm just pointing out what I've learnt.
Martin, thank you for diplomatically setting a good example.
For the record, what I got out of your post is:
a) Do your research
b) Not everything will get handed to you on a silver platter. See a)
c) Keep things on a diplomatic level, even in email. It's very easy to let your social graces erode when sitting in front of a computer. There's still a person on the other end who can be annoyed, offended, or at least turned off to brusque manners.
d) Many, if not most of the people posting gigs here are not performers.net members. They're probably doing drive-by marketing.
e) Quit whining.
f) That includes me.
