i think everybody here should go to the taste this year and crash it , let's all go to jail to prove a point. hahaha lol . really though a class action lawsuit is in hand. they have suspended all street performers for the 2012 taste. maybe thousands of performers working right at the gate will give them a taste of what they are missing. they actually should be paying us to be there. please let me know your thought on this.

If the event is in a public place which performers and other people express their right to express themself you may want to see the 9th circuit court ruling Berger vs Seattle in regards to time, place and location and a captive audience

remember that..

yeah that dude stressed himself out to protect other peoples rights. freedom of speech is such no matter if your using it as a performer or not, having to wear an id tag violates 14th amendment. nobody should have to have a burdern of proof in the same space as other people just because they are making money.

also read this.. street performing is still legal outside of the event. the permit is $85 they notify me when it's up for renewal I would assume they would contact to cancel them. have heard nothing will call tomorrow to find out . I"m going even if I have to catch a freight train. I will do that . not a hitchhiker, though my dad criss crossed the nation many times with his thumb alone.

ok , the taste was a great deal and was able to work just outside of the gates just like last year. there were a few piss poor spots that only the piss poorest of performers chose to accept as they cannot compete with the big boys' on the outside. they chose to kiss the ass of the parks department and beg for less opportunity and harsher treatement.
